We have now opened up the drivers’ registration for CHGP 2014 on August 2nd – 3rd at Bellahoj Park, where many of the historic classes are joined by the audience favorite Royal Pro/Am.
The race drivers and their impressive race cars are an invaluable part of Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix. Rightfully so, they attract hundreds of beautiful historic race cars, thousands of spectator, guests and audiences, when this Copenhagen classic event kicks off in the first weekend of August.
True to tradition, one of our main attractions at CHGO is the CHGP Royal Pro/Am race, where Denmark’s fastest prince, His Royal Highness Prince Joachim, battles side by side with some of the greatest national and international bigwigs. Stars such as, CHGP ambassador and nine-time Le Mans winner, Tom Kristensen, along with many other racing legends, are teaming up with skillful amateurs, to jointly create a feeling of glamour and drama at this event at Bellahoj Park.
The Royal Pro-Am starting field was at a record high in 2013, but the organizers behind Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix have even higher expectations for this year’s edition. The list of all the professional drivers, who have already announced their participation is prominent and includes both current and former Le Mans winners, as well as titleholders in national and international championships.
Besides the Royal Pro/Am race, which is held both Saturday and Sunday, the program is better than ever before, with more classes, where sensational race cars from many epoch-creating decades, over the weekend will compete in the noble art of racing.
