Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix kicks off ticket sales with a great ”Early Bird”-offer for the huge event next summer, which will include a visit from a historic Formula One series.
As usual, Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix starts ticket sales to Copenhagen’s big, historic sports event a few months prior to Christmas. In 2018, the event will take place during the weekend of August 4th and 5th. And even though CHGP is ten months into the future, both visitors, exhibitors and participating classes already show great interest in the event.
Three weeks ago, the organization behind Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix revealed, that the historic racing class HGPCA, also known as ”Historic Grand Prix Cars Association” for drivers and owners of historic Grand Prix racecars, will visit CHGP in 2018. The class will be a tribute to beautiful Grand Prix racecars all the way back from the two-seaters of the 1920s to the cigar-shaped single-seaters of the 1960s.
Besides the HGPCA, a large number of historic race classes are expected to head for the starting line in 2018 along with the entertaining OK Mobile 1 Legends Car Cup and the modern MASCOT Danish Thundersport Championship series.
The CHGP organizers are also happy to inform that the many exhibitors, who display their great stands and tents around the former show yard at Bellahøj each year, have also shown a way larger interest in next year’s event than ever before. Along with the many family activities, this will contribute to making Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix a historic race event for the whole family.
This year, Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix introduces ”Early Bird”-tickets for those who wish to purchase their tickets in time and – at the same time – save 20 percent compared to the regular admission fees, which will apply from New Year.
Early Bird ticket prices 2018:
One day admission: 240 DKK
Weekend admission: 415 DKK
Stand, extra fee: 160 DKK per day.
* plus possible ticket fee
Tickets can be purchased from the CHGP website: http://www.chgp.dk/billetter-2018/.
As a novelty in 2018, all stand seats will have views to large TV screens from where the audience can watch the races of the weekend, transmitted from the myriad of cameras, covering the entire track around Bellahøj Park.
If you would like to be extra spoiled, a limited number of CHGP Grand Prix Club (GPC 2018) tickets are available. The GPC is located in the beautiful setting in and around Restaurant Bellahøj. Besides the admission to the CHGP, the day in the GPC starts with a large breakfast buffet and during lunch hours, the guests can enjoy a tasteful and delicious lunch buffet. In the afternoon, coffee and cake is served and throughout the day soft beverages, wine and beer is available at no extra cost. GPC guests can watch the many different races of the weekend around the track or from the exclusive GPC VIP-grandstand, from where the races can be watched at GPC’s own big TV screen, placed right across from the seating area in the Grand Prix Club area.
