When Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix (CHGP) was held for the first time back in 1996, the event was driven by enthusiasm and love for both classic and modern race cars. That love is still as great, but the size of the event has grown enormously and over the years it has become not only a major, visible cultural event in Denmark but it has also gradually gained international attention. That goes especially for the traditional Royal Pro / Am race, which among others has CHGP’s patron HRH Prince Joachim as enthusiastic participant, and over the years it has developed into an international crowd-puller and is the weekend’s highlight.
